Chloe is our foundation.  Through her we fell in love with the breed.  While she doesn't have "the drive" to compete, her kids have really thrived in the performance "games".  Don't get me wrong, Chloe can run with the best of them.......when she wants :o).   She loves training, it's being the center of attention she not thrilled about.

Through Chloe we have the start of our line.  Sage is her son and Miah is her great grand daughter.  We could not have asked for a better start.

From Left to Right:  Halle, Kyrie & Chloe --
Chloe is the mother to Kyrie and the Grandmother to Halle.
We made the hard decision to let Chloe go to a retirement home.  When Chloe came home from AZ we were so excited and she seemed very happy to be home even with all the  changes that had occurred.  We had moved out of the house she new and had a new Doberman and Aussie in the house.  She remembered Sage, Cairo and Flutter but everyone else was brand new.  We got back into the training routine but Chloe really just wanted to  be a house dog.  That was OK, but she wasn't super happy with the traveling we were doing to show our other dogs.

We were contacted by a wonderful family that was looking for a dog for their mother.  A nice gentle companion that could go on walks and play with her.  Chloe actually fit the bill to a "T".  After much soul searching, crying and talking we decided to give the new home a try.

Boy does Chloe ever have it good.  We will always keep tabs on her to be sure she is happy & healthy.  We owe her the best possible retirement and take that responsibility very seriously.
